Robert West | Founder and Creative Director
Robert West has been interested in Art and Design from an early age, learning much from his family who were some of the countries leading civil engineers, building structures such as the Humber Bridge. West began to specialise in Art from a young age and continued to develop his knowledge of Art through under taking a Foundation Diploma in Fine Art and then a BA in Fine Art Painting at Loughborough University, graduating with Honours in 2008. After graduating he designed and built his first studio to allow him to continue his practice. To date West has exhibited both nationally and internationally, concentrating on exhibiting in London. He will be getting published in the next Art Now Book Re-Imagine. West is currently part of the Art Laboratory Debut Contemporary (Notting Hill, London) and is part of the Art Collective Vanilla Galleries.
West began to develop his first professional Web Site www.robert-west.com over three years ago, now in its 6th Edition it provides clean, concise informative content to its viewers. Through these Editions he has developed an in-depth understanding about the needs of the creative and the needs of their viewers. Consequently RW Contemporary was founded in 2011 to service the needs of the creative community.
